My Chair

Okay, it really is for Curtis. But I made it. I am so proud of myself. I didn’t even throw any fits while making it. I usually do. And John gets frustrated that I get frustrated. This time I worked on it while he was at work or downstairs and I surprised him with it.

Now I need to do one for Alessia. I need to find the right fabrics first. Now I am in a crafty mood. Of course as soon as I get stumped on a project it goes into a pile of non finished items. That is why I am so excited that I actually got this finished. Wahoo!

i am so glad other people love my chair. the pattern is McCall’s cozy chair (9665). i had the green poka dot fabric left over from another project and had been dying to use it again.
the filling is suppose to be pillow form but i cheated and just made a zipper on the back and filled it all with polyester fiberfill and then I added the buttons to make it look more like a chair.

i will be taking orders for those who want me to make some.

Danielle, I really am not that good of a sewer. I just got lucky this time that I pulled it off. I check your blog every so often too to see what your family is up to.
