4 Children

John and I have 4 children.  4!  That is a lot.  Sometimes when I go out with all four I feel weird.  Never when we are home do I feel like 4 is a lot.  Okay, at bedtime I think 4 is a lot.  I remember when I went to the doctor for the first time with Gianluca’s pregnancy and I had to tell them what number pregnancy this was.  I felt like a rabbit when I told them five.

We love all 4 of them though and I can’t imagine life without any of them.  They all are so different.  They all make me so happy in so many ways and drive me crazy in so many different ways too.  Parenting each one is so different.  It is hard because what works for one does not always work for another.

Curtis is sensitive and shy when first put in new situations.  He is creative.  He is my mini me.

Alessia is outgoing and determined.  She will try anything and is good at everything she does.  She is John’s mini.

Micah is sweet and mischievous.  We are still figuring out who is more like.  He has the most amazing eye lashes that get commented on every time we go out.  He has the most adorable face that lets him get away with more than he should.

Gianluca is so easy going.  He rarely fusses.  He did get shots this week and was fussy after that but overall he is just a great baby.

On the first day of school I took a few pictures of all 4 of them.  They three older ones each had to take a turn holding the baby.  It was also the first time I allowed Curtis and Alessia to hold the baby standing up.  They were beyond excited.  Of course now they think they can always do it. I have to keep a close eye of those two or else they will be walking around the house with Gianluca.
