Micah is my little helper in the kitchen.  If I am in there making any meal he has to be in there with me.  He loves to sit on the counter and help me measure the ingredients and dump them in.  He will help me cook or bake anything.  Of course his favorite is when it is a dessert and he can lick the bowl or spoon afterwards.

Last Monday I was in charge of the treat for family home evening.  I decided to make scotch-a-roos.  It is one of John’s favorite treats but I never make them.  He usually has to get them from other people.  Our friends, The Dunlavys use to make them for him but they moved away. I don’t think we had them since they last brought some over so it really had been a long time.  They aren’t hard to make so I don’t know why I just don’t make them.  Any how, Monday I made them with my little helper.

He then was delighted to get to clean off the spatula.

Of course as soon as Alessia saw Micah licking the spatula after we made scotch-a-roos she had to have some too.  I let Micah lick one side and she got to lick the other.
