One of the belt loops you can earn in Cub Scouts is the Gymnastics Belt Loop. It is quite hard to get because to have to have access to gymnastic apparatuses.

Towards the end of last year a cute, newly married couple moved into our ward.  Both are gymanstics coaches. I asked them if they would be willing to help some of the cub scouts earn this belt loop and they said yes!

So last week, we met Brother Kofford at the gym he works at.   He was so great with all the cub scouts and all our little kids that tagged along.  He taught them about all 6 of the mens events and then let them try out most of them.

The kids had a blast.  My kids now want to have lessons.  It really was so fun to watch too.  I wish I wasn’t so old or else I may have given a few of those events a try too.
