This April was Curtis’s third Pinewood Derby.  He has known since last year that he wanted to make a Minion Bus.  He did a bit of research to figure out how best to create a minion bus. I did the research on how to make it fast.  In the end our research paid off and we had a really cool Minion Bus that came in 2nd place.  The man who owns the track said it was the fastest bus he has even seen.  Wahoo, points for mom!  Of course the downside to winning second place is he didn’t win Most Creative.  Sadly, he would have rather won most creative over placing in the race.  Next year, if it falls before his birthday and he is still a cub scout I am going to give up all control and just let him do his own thing.  Even though he didn’t win most creative he still had fun.  And really truly his car was quite awesome looking.

Alessia and Micah also raced this year.  Micah came in first in the Primary Division.  Alessia was the only other car to race in that division so she came in second.
