John and I took our kids and Rylee to hike the Overlook Hike at Zions.  It was a fun hike.  You hike up pretty high and you overlook some amazing cliffs.  It can be a little nerve-racking making sure your kids stay far away from the edge.  While hiking, Rylee tells me she is afraid of hikes.  For someone who is afraid of heights she did amazingly well.  They all did a great job hiking.

When we made it to the top and could overlook Zions Alessia burst out into song.  She sang, “cause their ain’t no doubt I love this land. God bless the USA.”  It made me super proud that she could put the amazing view she was seeing to a song she had been learning all year at school.
