My college roommate Becca lives fairly close to Bear Lake so I convinced Mary to take a road trip with the kids and I to Bear Lake so Becca and I could meet up and play.  John thought I was crazy to drive there and back the same day but it was totally worth it.

Last year was the first time I had been to Bear Lake and I loved it there.  This trip was quite short but we were still able to have fun at the beach with Beck and her kids.

I love seeing my kids make friends with my friend’s kids.  The kids all had fun playing with each other.  There wasn’t any whining or I’m bored uttered all day.

It was so much fun for me to get to talk with Becca.

On the way home we stopped for some yummy shakes. (You can’t stop in Bear Lake and not get some milk shakes.)  We also stopped for gas and the poor gas station had ran out of gas. I have never ever heard of this.  Luckily, the gas station had enough to fill our tank it just took forever to pump out.

I am super happy that Mary was willing to take the long drive with me to Bear Lake.  Everything is more fun when Mary is with us.
