The last Christmas I had spent in NY was the year right after my mission. I got married the following year and John and I spent Christmas on our Honeymoon in NYC. Before we knew it 12 years had passed and we had never made it to NY for Christmas. We finally decided it was time to experience a white Christmas in NY with my parents and extended family.
Of course NY didn’t really get the memo about the white Christmas. It was around 60 degrees while we were there. Luckily there was a little bit of snow, which to our kids seemed like a lot of snow so the kids were happy.
We started off our NY Christmas at the Christmas Tree farm. We were looking for the perfect Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Curtis was super drawn to the Bruce Spruces. Maybe he thought the blue trees were actually green. I am not sure. We let him pick out the tree of his dreams.
It was a scraggly little tree. The perfect Charlie Brown Tree. We decorated it with M&M ornaments.
