Our family was given some free Wet n Wild tickets so we could try out their park. This is probably there third year being open but we just have not made it there. We went on a Friday the kids had off of school. It was a perfect day to go. The weather was amazing and the crowds were slim. Our neighbors Jenny and Sam joined us in the morning.
When we first went into the park they measured the little boys and put it a colored wristband on them so we would know which slides they could go on. Micah and Gianluca luckily are close enough in height that both got the same colored wrist band. They were able to ride all the slides except two. Alessia and Curtis were able to go on all the rides. I love that they are now tall enough to go on everything.
John took off with the oldest three to ride the water slides while shy little Micah and I headed to the wave pool then the lazy river.
With our free passes came a cabana and a cabana boy named Josh. John brought us water and fruit to start off the day. Later he came by and took our order for lunch. We had their pizza. It was pretty good pizza. The kids had the chicken strips. They were gone pretty quickly.
After lunch we went and rode some more slides all together. Curtis and Sam went together, Jenny took Alessia, I had Gianluca and John took Micah. It worked out perfectly. That is until we lost Sam and Curtis. We could not find them anywhere. We looked for about 20 minutes, which seems like hours before we finally found them in the wave pool playing.
After Sam and Jenny left for the day we headed to do some more slides. We hit up the wave pool, the lazy river and another set of water slides before calling it a day.
I really loved Wet n Wild. The kids had so many water slides to choose from, even the little ones. The park is clean and well organized. The cabana was super nice. If we weren’t leaving town for a few weeks I would seriously consider buying the season pass. Lucky for us we get to go again next week. Curtis and Alessia’s orthodontist has organized a party there for all their patients and their families. It will be nice to test it out when the crowds are bigger and the weather is hotter. I may not like it as much then.
